Privacy Policy

You upload a resume. We parse it in memory, run our checks, and (if you pay) generate a rebuilt .docx for you. Your file is never written to disk on our servers. We delete every parsed text within minutes. We don't sell your data, ever. The only thing we'd keep beyond your scan is your email — and only if you email us.

• Your resume content: when you upload a PDF or DOCX, we extract the text in memory only. The original file is held in volatile memory for the duration of your scan (usually under 60 seconds) and discarded automatically — it is never written to permanent storage.
• Your email address: only if you email us at hello@atsverification.com or sign up for product updates. We never auto-collect email at scan time.
• Payment information: if you purchase a paid tier, your card details are processed by Polar (our Merchant of Record). Polar holds your card on their servers — we never see or store your full card number. We retain only the last 4 digits and expiration for receipt generation.
• Anonymous usage data: aggregate counts — how many scans were run, average score, fastest parse time. Nothing tied to you personally.

• No login, no account, no name required to use the free scan.
• No tracking cookies, no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel.
• No fingerprinting, no IP-based location tracking.
• No data from your LinkedIn, your other employers, or any third party.

We use these third-party services to run the product. Each is bound by their own privacy commitments:

• Vercel — hosts the website and runs the parsing functions. Files in flight are visible to Vercel infrastructure during the request only.
• Anthropic — when you choose Enhanced or Bundle rebuild, your resume text is sent to Claude (Anthropic's AI) for structured extraction and rewriting. Anthropic does not train models on this data per their API Privacy Policy.
• Polar — payment processing and Merchant of Record. Card data is collected by Polar directly via their secure checkout — never touches our servers. Polar also handles tax compliance and remittance on our behalf.
• ImprovMX — forwards email sent to atsverification.com to our inbox. No content storage.

Wherever you are, you have these rights over your data:

• Right to know: ask what data we hold about you.
• Right to delete: ask us to delete your data. We'll do it within 30 days. (Most data is deleted automatically anyway.)
• Right to portability: ask for a copy of your data in a machine-readable format.
• Right to complain: if you're in the EU or UK, you can complain to your local data protection authority. In California, you have CCPA rights including non-discrimination if you exercise them.

• Uploaded files: deleted from memory within 60 seconds of scan completion. Never written to disk.
• Extracted text: held in your browser session for the duration of your visit. Cleared when you close the tab.
• Payment records: retained for 7 years per UAE tax law.
• Email correspondence: retained until you ask us to delete it.

We use only essential session cookies for site functionality — no advertising cookies, no third-party tracking, no analytics cookies. You don't see a cookie banner because we don't use cookies that require consent.

Our service is intended for job seekers, typically 18+. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has used our service, email us and we'll delete any associated data.

We'll email anyone who has corresponded with us if we make a material change. Otherwise, this page is the source of truth and shows the "last updated" date at the top.
